DE · Whitelist by operator and product
Germany
Germany publishes a common whitelist of authorised organisers and intermediaries. It is particularly useful because it links an operator to permitted forms of gambling: the existence of a company or brand does not mean that every product it offers is legal.

What the framework covers
What the framework covers
The Interstate Treaty covers sports betting, online poker and virtual slots among other activities, with national requirements. Other products, including some table games and land casinos, may be governed by the Länder under different frameworks.
How to check an offer
How to check an offer
Open the latest GGL whitelist and search for the operator, domain and exact category. Check the document date: the authority says the list is updated regularly and when significant events occur.
What not to infer
What not to infer
Deposit limits, cross-provider controls and monitoring tools form part of the framework but do not remove expected losses. An absent offer cannot be treated as authorised merely because another brand in the same group is listed.

Verification in five checks
- 01Identify the player’s physical location and applicable law.
- 02Open the authority’s official website, never a copied register.
- 03Match the legal entity and exact domain character by character.
- 04Compare the offered product with the genuinely permitted activities.
- 05Check status and date, then retain the source consulted.
