The Montreux Riviera promenade offers a lakeside starting point. A worthwhile stay does not depend on an evening of gambling.

The tourism office presents a walk from Montreux towards Villeneuve, passing Chillon Castle. You need not complete the whole route: choose a section and return point suited to your time and mobility.
